Man charged with 2012 assault and 2014 murder
January 22, 2015

Language from the Probable Cause Statement: "S.T. told me that on July 2, 2012, the defendant, whom he knows, pointed a firearm at himself and T.B. The defendant fired his firearm several times at them. T.B. was struck multiple times about his body and sought medical attention. Police Officers investigated the shooting and placed Kenneth Moore as “wanted”.

On December 3, 2014, police received a call to respond to Labadie and Norwood for a shooting victim. When they arrived, they found T.B. inside a 2003 Chevrolet Impala. T.B. was pronounced dead at the scene with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim’s brother, L.A., told me that he and his brother were sitting in L.A.’s 2003 Chevrolet Impala parked on Terry Avenue. L.A. was in the driver’s seat and T.B. was in the passenger seat. L.A. told me that a car pulled next to his car on the passenger side. He saw the defendant driving that vehicle. The defendant extended his arm out of the driver’s window while holding a firearm and shot multiple times at L.A.’s vehicle. T.B. was struck in the head at that time. The defendant drove away from the scene. L.A. then drove away believing that the shooter could come back. L.A. has identified the defendant in a photo array as the shooter and has known him for several years."

*Charges are only accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until the defendant is either found guilty or has pleaded guilty.
